St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church
Sunday Worship Service

Dear St. Andrew's Community and Beyond:

This service is focused largely on Mother's Day. After acknowledging our families of origin, I then explore spiritual dimensions of this theme by looking at the themes of contemplative presence, community and call.

Dana is our reader for this Sunday. Disciple Dog shares a Mother's Day card he composed. You'll also see some greetings from younger members of our community.

Musically, we'll hear Chris play the prelude, and then he and Erin lead us in "As the Deer" and "My Life Flows On" as well as two shorter pieces often used at St. Andrews.

Artistically, I've gathered a range of images of mother's, including portraits painted by famous artists. We also enjoy the sunset painting by Louise Carey that heads this email.

We will once again be having a coffee hour and adult class via Zoom.

Many blessings to all of you this weekend as we celebrate this holiday in the midst of the ongoing pandemic.
